OFFICER, LOGISTICS (ALFANAR PROJECTS)
Job Purpose
Key Accountability Areas
- Responsible for preparation of shipping marks letter in coordination with Specialist logistics and Commercial Section Manager with approval of concern Project Manager.
- Responsible for issuance of shipping marks letter.
- Responsible for follow up of draft shipping documents from supplier.
- Responsible for checking the draft shipping documents obtained from supplier.
- Responsible for preparation of letter to incorporate the comments on draft shipping document (if required).
- Responsible for checking the draft shipping documents till approval of the same by Specialist logistics and Commercial Section Manager.
- Responsible for obtaining the original shipping documents.
- Responsible for preparation of shipping guarantee/undertaking (if required) and getting it approved from Commercial Section Manager & Supply Chain Manager.
- Responsible for dispatching the copy of original shipping documents to clearing agent till acknowledgment of the same from the clearing agent.
- Responsible for initiation of advance payment for clearing agent in coordination with specialist logistics.
- Responsible for follow up of payment with accounts department.
- Responsible for preparation, issuance & application of marine insurance application for shipments (if required).
- Responsible for maintaining status report for each PO/shipment
