During the opening ceremony, attended by Eng. Amer Al Ajmi, CEO, and Eng. Sattam Al Motairi, COO, Alfanar Engineering Services, received a recognition award for its contribution to the sector, which was received on behalf of the company by Eng. Amer Al Ajmi.

During the first day, Dr. Amer Nasr, Technical Training Manager at Alfanar Engineering Services, delivered a presentation titled “Integrated Asset Maintenance Approach: Assessment, Optimization & Reliability Improvement.” The session offered practical insights into enhancing asset performance, improving operational efficiency, and achieving long-term reliability through structured maintenance strategies.

On the second day, Eng. Mohamed Rashad, Senior Manager, Technical Training & Development, led a session entitled “Developing Professional Competencies Using Digital Twin and Artificial Intelligence.” The session highlighted how advanced digital technologies are transforming technical training, strengthening workforce competencies, and enabling data-driven performance improvement across asset-intensive industries.
