The meeting brought together senior leadership from both organizations to discuss manufacturing, international collaboration, and the future of the energy sector.

Alfanar Global Development was represented by Eng. Sabah Al Mutlaq, Vice Chairman, Alfanar & Managing Director, Alfanar Projects, along with Mr. Wasim Al Malouhi, CEO of Alfanar Global Development, and senior leaders from the commercial, business development and engineering departments.

The TNB delegation was led by Datuk Ir. Ts. Shamsul bin Ahmad, President and Chief Executive Officer of TNB, on his first courtesy visit to AGD. Carrying a diplomatic weight to the meeting, H.E. Dato’ Syed Mohamed Bakri Syed Abdulrahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, also joined the visit.

The program included a guided tour of the Switchgear Complex and Transformers Factory at Alfanar Industrial City that gave the delegation a direct view into the manufacturing capabilities and quality standards, followed by a focused discussion on areas of energy transition and potential partnerships.
