Alfanar Projects Secures +145 Million SAR Al-Sahafa Substation Contract
Alfanar Projects announced it has secured a contract exceeding SAR 145 million from the National Grid SA to build the 132/13.8 kV Al Sahafa substation in the Central Region and its connection to the grid in Riyadh.
The contract was signed by Eng. Khalid Al Solami, Executive Vice President of Engineering Construction at Alfanar Projects, and Engineer Yahya Sharahili, Manager of the Transmission Contracting Department at National Grid SA.
Under the agreement, Alfanar Projects will deliver the full scope of site-specific design and engineering services, as well as the procurement, transportation, and supply of all equipment and materials to the project site. The scope also includes commissioning activities, testing, and the successful energization and handover of the substation.
Commenting on this milestone, Eng.
