The award was presented by Eng. Mohammad Al Hatlani, President and Chief Executive Officer of SATORP, to Eng. Sattam Al Motairi, Chief Operations Officer of Alfanar Engineering Services.

The shutdown activities spanned over 42 days and were successfully completed through the efforts of more than 14,000 specialists across various sectors, achieving a total of over 7 million safe working hours. The recognition ceremony was held in the presence of SATORP’s senior management, along with representatives from Saudi Aramco and Total Energies, reflecting the high level of collaboration and integration among all parties involved.

During the shutdown, Alfanar Engineering Services carried out preventive maintenance works and asset reliability improvements across multiple scopes. These included electrical motor maintenance at site and within maintenance facilities through its Technical Services unit in Jubail, in addition to specialized inspection and maintenance works for main high-voltage substation.

Commenting on the achievement, Eng.
