Lighthouse Green Fuels Attends Innovation Zero World in London
Strengthening industry relationships, Lighthouse Green Fuels (LGF), the project developed by Alfanar Projects, was pleased to attend Innovation Zero World in London, with Dr. Simon Owens, Director of Engineering & Technical at Lighthouse Green Fuels, representing the project at the event.
As the UK’s largest net zero event, Innovation Zero World brings together investors, policymakers, industry leaders, and businesses from across the global energy transition. LGF joined the Tees Valley Combined Authority pavilion alongside other regional projects, placing the project in direct conversation with the people and organizations actively shaping the future of the UK’s clean energy landscape.
The participation served three clear purposes: raising awareness of the project, building and strengthening industry relationships, and reinforcing Teesside’s established position as a center for green fuel and industrial innovation. As the UK’s most advanced second-generation SAF project and being at the forefront of establishing a domestic fuel supply chain for aviation, LGF is precisely the kind of initiative that events like Innovation Zero World are designed to put on the map.
Commenting on participating in the event, Dr. Simon Owens said: “Innovation Zero World is a meeting point for the people and institutions that will determine how quickly the UK gets to net zero. Being there as the most advanced second-generation SAF in the country matters. It is how we build the relationships, the understanding, and the momentum that a project of this scale and ambition needs.”
