Lighthouse Green Fuels Joins the Royal Aeronautical Society Sustainability Summit 2026
Lighthouse Green Fuels, developed by Alfanar Projects, participated in the Royal Aeronautical Society Sustainability Summit 2026,
joining an important industry discussion on the future of sustainable aviation and the actions needed to accelerate decarbonization across the sector.
The summit combined policymakers, industry leaders, and sustainability advocates to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in the transition to sustainable aviation while Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) remains central to the conversation.
Representing LGF, Eng. Noaman Al Adhami, UK Country Director, joined the Sustainable Aviation panel to discuss the launch of Sustainable Aviation’s 2026 Roadmap and the actions required to drive meaningful progress toward a decarbonized aviation sector. The discussion also reaffirmed that SAF remains the most effective and scalable near-time solution for reducing aviation emissions.
Commenting on the participation, Eng. Noaman stated: “The conversation at the summit reinforced the fact that SAF is the solution, but policy certainty and investor confidence are the unlock. Projects like LGF are ready to move. So, what is needed now is the stable, long-term policy framework that gives investors the confidence to back them through to the final investment decision and beyond.”
