Lighthouse Green Fuels (LGF) participates in the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA) Conference in London
As part of its ongoing engagement with global sustainability leaders, Alfanar Projects’ Lighthouse Green Fuels (LGF) participated in the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA) Conference in London.
The event focused on delivering the first 4 clusters in the UK and how the industry can start to deliver real impact to meet net zero.
As part of a panel about alternative fuels, Eng. Noaman Al Adhami, UK Country Manager, took part in a discussion highlighting why CCUS is essential to unlocking a thriving UK SAF ecosystem under the carbon-intensity–based SAF mandate that rewards lower-carbon fuels. He also outlined how LGF’s model integrates CO₂ transport and storage into the SAF price.
Throughout the conference, the LGF team met with stakeholders from across government and industry to discuss fast-tracking access to the Net Zero Teesside cluster, where the project is located and how with CCS LGF can deliver carbon-negative SAF.
“Our participation in the CCSA Conference highlights LGF’s role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the UK. By aligning with the UK’s 2050 net-zero ambition, LGF is helping to shape the country’s path toward cleaner aviation,” Eng. Noaman Al Adhami stated.
