Senvion Hosts “Powering the Next Era” Leadership Event in Mumbai

Senvion, a subsidiary of Alfanar Projects, hosted “Powering the Next Era,” a leadership and stakeholder engagement event in Mumbai, bringing together customers, partners, investors, and senior leadership from Senvion and Alfanar Projects.

The event reflected Senvion’s continued focus on strengthening India’s wind energy ecosystem through technology development, localization, manufacturing capability, project execution, and long-term lifecycle support.

Discussions focused on the future of India’s wind energy sector and the need to accelerate domestic capabilities across the renewable energy value chain. Representing Alfanar Projects at the event were Eng. Sabah Al Mutlaq, Vice Chairman of Alfanar and Managing Director of Alfanar Projects, and Eng. Jamal Wadi, President of Alfanar Projects, both of whom delivered a speech, and Mr. Emad Shalola, Vice President, Finance & Business Support, delivered a presentation. Mr. Shreyas B. Suvarna, CEO of Senvion, represented Senvion India and shared his business perspective along with a positive outlook into the future.

The event reinforced Senvion’s role as a domestic wind turbine OEM with an expanding presence across the value chain. With India’s growing clean energy ambitions, Senvion focuses on building technology and execution capabilities.
