The lump sum turnkey project for extending the Sharourah Power Plant included:
Portion 1:
Adding two Gas Turbine Generator Units of 34 MW and its associated auxiliaries and Balance of Plant (BOP) as GTG unit (1) and GTG unit (2).
Portion 2:
Adding one Gas Turbine Generator Unit of 17 MW and its associated auxiliaries and Balance of Plant (B.O.P) as GTG unit (3) for the project's second portion.
